Sprout Savvy is an learning website that is all about everything to do with green living and sustainability.  Their mission is to make exchange through the thought that "small changes that make a huge difference."  If you are interested in sustainability and green living, check out their Sprout TV series of learning videos!

Along with their mission of green living, Sprout Savvy has an annual Eco-Friendly Scholarship Program. The award for the winner of this scholarship is is $1,500 (the sprinter-up receives $500).

This scholarship program involves producing a record about how you are making the world a more environmentally friendly place. The videos will then be uploaded to the Sprout Savvy Facebook Page for three weeks.  The winner is determined by Sprout Savvy and the sprinter-up is determined by which record receives the most "likes" on Facebook (it is possible to win both awards).

The additional requirements for this scholarship are enrollment in college (in the 2010-2011 academic year) and a 3.0 GPA.  Additionally, applicants also have to subscribe to Sprout Savvy's YouTube Direct and "like" them on Facebook. The online scholarship form can be found on the Sprout Savvy website.

The deadline for this scholarship is August 14, 2011!
