The purpose of this scholarship is to support and encourage hospitality managers undertaking part-time study in a Master of International Hospitality Management

Application requirements
• AUT Scholarship Application Form.
• Letters of support from senior industry representatives.
• Academic Transcripts from before qualifications.
• Recent CV outlining in detail relevant industry experience.
• Cover letter outlining the candidate's commitment to gaining the qualification and why they believe they should be selectedfor the scholarship. The letter should also highlight managerial work experience including but not limited to: Examples of key
management related actions such as project management, human resource management accomplishments and financial management responsibilities.

Criteria
• Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
• Applicants must be employed during the duration of the scholarship as hospitality managers in New Zealand.
• The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence and relevant hospitality management experience.

Choice
• Applicants will be considered by a choice panel from the School of Hospitality and Tourism and industry representatives.
• No scholarship will be awarded upon any occasion if the panel is of the opinion that there is no applicant of sufficient merit applying for the award.
