You have one month left to get an early bird discount on the Erie Art Museum's winter 2012 lessons and a couple weeks less than that to apply for a scholarship.

Register before Jan. 3 to receive a $10 early bird discount on winter-session art lessons like printmaking, photography, drawing, painting and pottery, according to an e-mail from the museum, 411 State St.

Go to www.erieartmuseum.com and click on lessons and then scholarship form to find out how to apply for an award covering up to half of tuition costs. You must clarify your financial circumstances and submit the art education scholarship form at least two weeks before a class starts.
