LiU International Scholarships

Linköping University offers sholarships to new students with brilliant academic results. Scholarships surrounded by the programme LiU International Scholarships will result in a tuition fee waiver of 50-100 %
Who is eligible?

Students who have applied for master's programmes at Linköping University
AND who have select a programme at Linköping University as the first priority (ranked as No.1 out of 4)
AND who are required to pay tuition fees

This scholarship programme is not open for students from the following 12 countries: Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Students from these countries should apply for the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship.

To apply for a LiU International Scholarship, you must first apply for the programme you wish to study at Linköping University using the online national application website, www.universityadmissions.se.
Application

Application for a LiU International Scholarship is made by by filling in the electronic application form on Linköping University's website.
The application for the selected master's programme(s) on www.universityadmissions.se must be made prior to making a scholarship application on Linköping University's website, as necessary information for making the scholarship application is obtained during this process.

Scholarship applications will only be processed after the corresponding application for master's programmes on www.universityadmissions.se has been completed, required documentation and the application fee has been received.
Only applicants fulfilling the eligibility requirements for the master¿s programme applied for will be considered for a scholarship.
All data entered in the scholarship application form must be verifiable by the documentation submitted in the national application process (www.universityadmissions.se).
For making a scholarship application, no additional documents are required.

Notification and mandatory confirmation requirement

Scholarship notifications will be announced by Linköping University on www.liu.se by end of March.
The scholarship receiver must confirm the offer by:

accepting the offered study place on  www.universityadmissions.se no later than 2 April
AND paying the remaining tuition fee no later than 1 June
