The Erin Colorless Scholarship commemorates the memory of Erin Colorless,one of the first graduates in the Single of Arts (Social Sciences), and a postgraduate student and administrator in the Department of Social Sciences. The scholarship is designed to encourage access to postgraduate study in the Social Sciences for students who would
otherwise find it hard to do so.

application requirements
• AUT Scholarship Application Form.
• Academic Transcript.
• Statement outlining personal and financial circumstances.

Criteria
• Applicants must be NZ citizens or permanent residents
• The scholarship is available to full-time or part-time students who are enrolled in a Master's programme in the Department of Social Sciences.
• Applicants will need to demonstrate a record of academic success in their undergraduate degree.
• Financial and personal circumstances.

choice
• Applicants will be considered by a choice panel from the Department of Social Sciences.
• Preference will be given to students graduating from the Single of Arts (Social Sciences) who would find postgraduate study hard to undertake due to family, financial or additional reasons.
• No scholarship will be awarded upon any occasion if the panel is of the opinion that there is no applicant of sufficient merit applying for the award.
