Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship | Learning Law

Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship | Learning Law

Here is a fantastic scholarship for high school seniors that are pursuing criminal justice degrees and other degrees. This is not just a criminal justice scholarship, so any high school senior can apply. Comcast wants students reach their goals, maximize their potential, and be a leader in school and the community. Comcast also knows that each small bit of money can greatly help a apprentice, so they offer these $1000 one-time scholarships to high school seniors whose school is in a community served by Comcast.

Students need to be nominated by their high school Principal or Guidance Counselor. The apprentice must also be a full-time high school senior, have a GPA of at smallest amount 2.8, and "demonstrate a strong commitment to community service and show leadership abilities in school activities or through work experience."

The scholarship can be used towards tuition and other expenses, and here is no set number of scholarships awarded.

Students are encouraged to question their Principal or Guidance Counselor to nominate them. Have your Principal or Guidance Counselor email comcast@applyists.com to get the scholarship application and nomination form, and to verify their school's eligibility.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get some additional money for non-tuition expenses like books, meal cards, other study materials, tutoring, transportation (like bus passes, parking passes, etc.), and/or other fees. Students should try to get as much funding as possible to limit the amount of school loans they would need. Excellent luck.
