How to write a personal statement to a Scholarship Committee?

I have found a scholarship for students with (LD) – Learning Disability witch I do have and one of the things I have to do other than fill out the application form is I have to write a personal statement, I am having a hard time on what I should and shouldn't say on the personal statement.

Any suggestions on what I should and shouldn't say on the personal statement?

A personal statement is your opportunity to impress the scholarship sponsor with your commitment to education. Scholarship-granting organizations realize that here are a lot of students who could use money for school, but they can only help a very select few, and they hope to choose wisely, so that they can help a few students who are really vacant to benefit from the help. That's where a personal statement comes in.

Tell the committee in this area your hopes and dreams – what would you like to do with your education? Observably, if you're plotting on preparing for a career in a "helping" profession, then you're vacant to fascinate to an organization that is committed to helping people like you.
