Scholarship opportunity for Wright County students enrolled in ...

WRIGHT COUNTY, MN – Wright County students enrolled in criminal justice programs are encouraged to apply for the 2011 Minnesota Sheriffs' Association's (MSA) law enforcement scholarship program, announced Wright County Sheriff Joe Hagerty.

Here are up to 15 – $600 scholarships available for 2011 – 2012. Deadline for applications is Saturday, Oct. 15th.

Scholarships are only available to students currently enrolled in one of the following three categories:

  • Mandated POST Skills Program
  • In their following year of a two-year law enforcement program.
  • In their 3rd year of a four-year law enforcement program.

Students meeting these criteria are invited to obtain a scholarship application form and instructions online at http://www.mnsheriffs.org/. If students have further questions, feel free to contact Sheriff Hagerty at (763) 682-7616.
