The maximum scholarship award has been expanded to $16,000 over a period of six years or until the degree that the scholarship was awarded for has been attained, whichever occurs first. In addendum, the process for which you renew your scholarship will be changing to make it more flexible for you. Beginning August 2011 you will be able to complete your online renewal form when it works with your the upper classes's schedule. Our online system will now allow you to complete the form for up to 4 times per Walmart Fiscal Year (Feb 1 – Jan 31) at anytime you choose.

Applicant Eligibility
The associate must meet all of the following criteria:
* Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident of the United States
* Must be employed with any division of Walmart for at least six consecutive months prior to the application due date for the award period in which the associate is applying (see chart below)
* Must have earned a high school diploma or GED before applying
* Must have financial need and be able to demonstrate the need with required documents

(Note: Associates with additional funds that pay entirely for tuition, books, fees, and on-campus room and board are ineligible.)

Associates are eligible to apply for and receive a Walmart Associate Scholarship for any certificate or degree pursued, as long as they meet all eligibility requirements. Only one Walmart Associate Scholarship award can be awarded per degree sought. Academic Requirements An associate must have graduated high school/home school or obtained a GED before applying
