iCare/MATC Scholarship Funds Still Available

The iCare/MATC scholarship fund was established to provide Milwaukee Public Schools Special Education Program students with the opportunity to concentrate the Milwaukee Area Technical College.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must:

  • Be admitted into a program at MATC
  • Be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits
  • Have a GPA of 2.5
  • Have a high school diploma/adult GED. Preference will be given to Milwaukee Public School graduates who completed an Individualized Education Plot
  • Submit a written career goal plot of up to 250 words in length
  • Submit a completed MATC Foundation scholarship application, and provide two letters of professional recommendation (teachers, transition coordinator or employer)
  • Meet the standard criteria of financial need as determined by the Federal Student Financial Aid program.
