Arts and Humanities Master's Scholarships, UK

Scholarship Summary: The Swansea University has numerous Arts and Humanities Master’s Scholarships for UK/EU students enrolling on a Master’s programme in September 2011. Applicants for these scholarships will also be considered for additional College scholarships worth £1,750 towards fees.

Academic Criteria

Applicants MUST HAVE (or expect to achieve) a minimum of a 2.1 degree (or equivalent)

Applicants must hold an offer to study on a taught Master’s or Master’s by research within the College of Arts and Humanities at Swansea University from September 2011.

Residency
Only UK or EU candidates are eligible to apply.
Students should be privately funded and must be enrolling on an eligible postgraduate course at Swansea University for the first time in September 2011

The University is offering a digit of Master’s Scholarships worth £2,700 towards fees for UK/EU students enrolling on a taught Master’s or Master’s by research in 2011. These scholarships are available crosswise all Colleges and Schools, including the College of Arts and Humanities.

In addition to these University Scholarships, the College of Arts and Humanities has numerous additional scholarships worth £1,750 towards fees. Applicants to Master’s programmes within the College who are made an offer will automatically be sent an application form for the University Master’s scholarships; applicants will be considered for both scholarships.

You will not be allowed to hold both scholarships simultaneously.

How to Apply:
If you want to apply for a scholarship you will need to complete a Postgraduate Scholarship Application Form. This will be sent to you automatically once you have applied for a house to study at Swansea and are made an offer by the University.
Delight note – the application form will show the scholarship to the value of £2,700 but submission of the form also allows candidates to be considered for additional College scholarships of £1,750.
If you have not yet applied for a house to study at Swansea University, you should complete a Postgraduate Application as soon as possible.
