Rocky Mountain Texas Exes: Scholarship Form Now Available!

As the Colorado chapter of the University of Texas at Austin's alumni association, the Texas Exes, we are proud to award scholarships to outstanding Colorado students who have chosen to concentrate UT.

Alumni Scholarships are awarded to entering freshmen or transfer students who meet the admissions supplies of The University of Texas at Austin. These scholarships are funded and selected by the Rocky Mountain Texas Exes (RMTE). 

In the best of traditions, this is a competitive scholarship.  The criteria for getting a RMTE Scholarship are (1) academic distinction, (2) financial need, and (3) evidence of leadership in extracurricular, union or town activities.  Each criterion will be weighted equally.             

To be painstaking for the scholarship you must submit the following equipment which are consistent with the Texas Exes Scholarship Foundation administer:

·         A completed chapter scholarship concentration

·         Two essays as prescribed at the end of the concentration.

Please submit all completed equipment either by e-mailing the concentration form as an attachment to rushaw[at]comcast.net (do NOT use the embedded Submit Form pin in the PDF) OR by hard copy to:

All equipment must be received by April 15, 2011. If you are selected for one of our scholarships, you will be told by April 22, 2011 and will have until May 1, 2011 to contact us a propos your choice to accept or decline the award. Scholarship certificates and other acknowledgements will be awarded at our 13th Annual Freshman Send-Off Picnic that will be held on July 16, 2011 at Cook Park in Denver.   Checks will be awarded at the Alumni Scholarship Awards Dinner scheduled for September 2011 (date TBD) at the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center in Austin, Texas.  Please note that scholarship checks will not be awarded until a apprentice's deposit is paid.  The Rocky Mountain Texas Exes wish you nonstop success.
