Background
Each year Pacific Lutheran University awards one new applicant in the MBA program a $2,500.00 per semester scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to the top MBA applicant who best exemplifies high academic standards and a chose life of achievement, inquiry, integrity, leadership and service. The Dean’s MBA Scholarship may be renewed for up to four terms by a) maintaining nine semester hours per semester and b) maintaining brilliant standing in the program with a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA.Eligibility
Applicants to the MBA program who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents with high academic standards, and who have demonstrated a chose life of achievement, inquiry, integrity, leadership and service may apply for this scholarship. Specifically, the applicant must:
• Have a minimum GPA in all previous college or university coursework of 3.5
• Be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
• Demonstrate evidence of leadership and service to community
Applicants who receive schooling help from an employer, the military or other outside source are not eligible to apply for the Dean’s MBA Graduate Scholarship.

Application Procedure
To apply for the Dean’s MBA Graduate Scholarship, delight submit the following items no later than March 1 for a Summer 2011, Fall 2011 or Spring 2012 start:
1. The Dean’s MBA Graduate Scholarship application form
2. An essay of 500 words or less which answers the following questions:
Describe your experience as a leader. What do you reckon are the most vital qualities of a leader?
Describe your experiences in community service. What have you learned from these experiences?
Describe a situation everywhere you faced an ethical pronouncement. What did you consider in making this pronouncement?

Scholarship applications will only be considered for those who have submitted a complete application for the PLU MBA Program. If you have not received notice that all your application materials have been received, delight contact Office of Admission, Graduate Programs, at gradadmission@plu.edu.
